Join Our Team as the Manager of Power and Equipment Services

This role puts you at the center of high‑impact power and equipment service operations, supporting a national franchise network while promoting a growing in‑house rental program. You’ll lead technical project work—from mobile power and temperature‑control assessments to coordinating field teams—while serving as a key partner to clients throughout each project’s lifecycle. You’ll also build strong vendor relationships and secure new service agreements that directly fuel customer satisfaction and business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage strong relationships with franchise partners, national accounts, vendors, and internal teams as a primary operational contact.
  • Lead and negotiate across multiple stakeholders, including vendors, franchises, and corporate partners, to support project and service needs.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end power and environmental control projects, including estimating, coordination, field execution, and customer issue resolution.
  • Manage vendor networks and operational workflows by coordinating subcontractors, monitoring equipment usage, and maintaining accurate project data.
  • Control project financials and operational performance through budgeting, cost tracking, invoice approval, and margin optimization.
  • Support team development and operational excellence by assisting with communication, process improvements, conflict resolution, and training initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Related Field Experience preferred with two years of experience in customer service/field service within Temporary Power or HVAC industry.
  • Must be willing to complete and obtain certification in both the following: National Electrical Code (NEC) Basic Understanding of Electrical process and Integration AND North American Technician Excellence (NATE) HVAC Sales Application Training.
  • Experience in power and environmental control equipment sizing, coordination and execution and experience in planning and defining scopes.
  • Strong with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. This is a remote position with up to 50% travel required for project support, weather events, training and client/franchisee meetings.
  • After-hours and weekend work may be needed to respond to critical needs of our customers.
  • Out-of-town travel bonus during CAT/AWE situations.
