As a Sponsor of a Full-Stack Venture Capital BDC (investment fund), we invest across venture capital, private credit, and private equity—supporting bold entrepreneurs and helping our portfolio companies grow with precision, purpose, and performance. We also operate FloridaAngels.Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit aimed at democratizing angel investing and promoting entrepreneurship across the Southeast U.S.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about innovation, venture capital, and storytelling. This individual will serve as a cross-functional leader, supporting the Fund Distribution Team , the Venture Capital Team , and the FloridaAngels.Club initiative. The role involves managing marketing strategy and execution, driving visibility for Capital Q Ventures and its portfolio, coordinating event promotions, and leading external communications such as press releases and co-investor outreach. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO.

• Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns for the Fund Distribution Team to engage wealth managers and investment platforms.
• Partner with the Venture Capital Team to advise our portfolio companies crafting co-investment materials and attract co-investors to active portfolio company transactions.
• Manage CRM-integrated email campaigns, digital content, and marketing assets to support investor communications.

• Draft and manage press releases , media kits, and announcements for firm milestones and portfolio company updates.
• Uphold brand consistency across investor materials, web presence, presentations, and social channels.

• Coordinate marketing and event promotion for FloridaAngels.Club, including pitch nights, educational workshops, and member recruitment events.
• Develop member acquisition strategies and manage campaign analytics to track engagement and growth.

• Collaborate with leadership on thought leadership campaigns, video content, and innovation branding.
• Support the planning and execution of industry conferences and internal roadshows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications a plus).
• entry level experience or internship, preferably in financial services, venture capital, private equity, or tech/startups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to craft compelling narratives for sophisticated investor audiences.
• Proficiency in modern marketing tools (Canva/Adobe, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working directly with leadership.
• Passion for entrepreneurship, startups, innovation, and the venture capital ecosystem is a must .
