The Materials Manager will oversee production control, inventory, and scheduling for multiple assembly lines, ensuring alignment with customer orders, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. This position is with a global automotive components manufacturer. Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of inventory planners and production schedulers to manage production schedules across various assembly lines.
• Analyze customer orders to plan and prioritize production activities, ensuring delivery deadlines and customer requirements are met.
• Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and production managers to synchronize materials availability with production needs.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in customer demand or supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, materials management, or similar roles.
• Proven leadership in managing teams involved in planning, scheduling, and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes.
• Hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Automotive industry experience is highly valued but not required if you have a strong background in production scheduling or materials management.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to drive team alignment and achieve results.
• A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
