**Mechanical Assemblers Needed!** **Job Description** As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, adjusting, and aligning mechanical components for the erection of lifting equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the successful operation and assembly of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, adjust, and align mechanical components for lifting equipment. + Perform occasional welding of fabricated parts using FCAW and SAW processes. + Read and interpret manufacturing plans or blueprints in both imperial and metric systems. + Handle and move parts, assemblies, and equipment using overhead cranes, truck lifts, or similar equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly and mechanical tasks. + Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + 2 years of experience in industrial mechanics, electromechanical assembly, or related fields. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as an industrial mechanic, electromechanical assembler, auto or heavy-duty mechanic, military machinery technician, or machinist. + Successful completion of welding tests (ASME code certifications are a plus). + Lift and overhead crane operation certification. + Hands-on experience with hand and pneumatic tools, including welding equipment. + Mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills. \#AerotekReelUSA **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
