Job Description
We are looking for a full-time, reliable Medical Records Clerk to retrieve and organize client medical records and follow up with hospitals and providers on outstanding requests. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Request medical records using the record request workflow in the case management software.
• Follow up on outstanding medical requests, including sending additional correspondence and/or calling providers.
• Organize and maintain documents in an electronic case management system.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of PC applications, Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette.
Preferred Experience • Familiarity with medical terminology.
