Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. As a Mobile Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that meet our clients' needs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

- Write clean and efficient code that follows best practices and coding standards

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile development

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in mobile application development, .NET platform and user support

- Proficient in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin

- Experience with cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter is a plus

- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices

- Knowledge of web services and API integration

- Experience with version control systems such as Git

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Locations :

• Work must be performed on-site at all DPSCS locations across the State, with potential authorization for remote work at the discretion of the Contract Monitor.
• Primary work locations include DPSCS Reisterstown Road Plaza Office Center (RPOC) in Baltimore, MD, and Maryland State Police (MSP) in Pikesville, MD.
• Secondary work locations include various DPSCS facilities across the State.
