We're seeking a talented and creative developer eager to write great code and build something awesome. You'll join a small team to maintain and further develop an enterprise-level web application and an existing mobile app. We need someone who can design and write code quickly and efficiently, participate in code reviews and testing, and help set and maintain code standards, including test-driven development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Implement and launch elegant and maintainable applications and systems.
  • Adopt and promote best practices and technology for performance, usability, and testability.
  • Contribute to various tasks as needed within our small organization.
  • Write test-driven code and perform regular testing of your and the team’s code.
  • Work closely with off-shore and remote developers.
  • Build new features and interfaces based on design specifications and mockups.
  • Participate in daily standups and regular sprint planning.
  • Debug and resolve software issues.
  • Perform code reviews and manage pull requests.
  • Communicate engineering ideas and decisions across the business.

We’re looking for a motivated, high achieving Mobile/Web Developer with:

  • 3+ years of experience developing, launching, and evolving scalable web applications.
  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and modular, responsive CSS.
  • Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with application security (user authentications, user roles, user permissions, endpoint security etc.)

Our Mobile/Web Developer also might have:

  • B.S. in Computer Science.
  • Experience with multiple full-stack web frameworks.
  • Experience with React Native.
  • Experience building APIs for internal and public-facing use cases.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience working with customers for requirements gathering and writing user stories.
  • Contribution to open-source projects.
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Experience with DataDog (dashboards and logging)
  • Experience with authentication providers (Stytch, Okta)
  • Experience with AWS lambdas, load balancers, gateways
  • Experience integrating off-the-shelf reporting engines (e.g., Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI Embedded, JasperReports) into existing web applications.
  • Experience integrating AI tools into a web or mobile application.
