Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and Empower : Dive deep into the needs of our active customers, turning their requirements into tailored product solutions.
  • Upsell with Confidence : Master the art of cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to our valued existing accounts.
  • Qualify and Win: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within our current customer base.

  • Craft Winning Proposals : Collaborate with our management team to develop proposals, quotes, and respond to RFP/RFI documents.

  • Navigate Complexity : Handle the intricacies of service proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Engage with the established IT GOAT services team to deliver top-line IT Managed Services to our clients
  • Aggressively work potential accounts through the sales cycle – initiating contact, building relationships, qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions, closing, and onboarding
  • Create and deliver presentations to prospective customers highlighting IT GOAT's value-added MSP services
  • Lead or assist account reviews with customers on performance, forecasts, and future opportunities for MSP solutions
  • Communicate customer and market trends to IT GOAT senior leadership
  • Collaborating and working with other staff and vendor support resources to resolve issues and provide effective field support services
  • Passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service
  • Sell Help Desk Services, Network Operations Services, Security Operations Services, vCIO Services, Hardware-as-a-Services, Backup-as-a-Service, VOIP, LTE, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and more
  • Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands.
  • Cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing accounts.
  • Qualify new sales opportunities for current customers.
  • Receive requests for service and product details from customers and provide timely responses.
  • Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to active customers.
  • Work with management to develop proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFI documents.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account.
  • Manage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, lease agreements and service level agreements.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company.
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in ConnectWise and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and work to give them the best possible service.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Previous Managed Service Provider or IT Services firm experience required
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in IT Managed Services
  • Minimum of 3+years’ experience in the field working with clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate with users and vendors
  • Passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service
  • Must be well-spoken, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible
  • Outside sales experience with selling relevant services and products.
  • Possess a track record of managing customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
  • Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
  • Enjoy working with customers and external audiences.
  • High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with general office applications.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficient in quota carrying sales targets and forecasting

IT’S AN ASSET IF YOU HAVE:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional status is a huge asset
  • Experience working with ConnectWise, Cisco Meraki, Proofpoint, IronScales, Dropsuite, IT Glue
  • Experience with working on Dell servers
