Position Overview

The Net Revenue Management Lead will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive revenue optimization strategies that drive profitable growth for Nonni's premium cookie portfolio. This executive role will oversee pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and financial analysis across all channels to maximize profitability while aligning with company goals. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position will collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver data-driven revenue management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Revenue Optimization

  • Identify and execute key business opportunities for the company's profitable growth in line with overall strategy and goals
  • Develop and implement multi-year pricing strategies (3-year horizon) based on market intelligence, COGS analysis, and internal factors
  • Lead the analysis of competitor market trends to direct the most effective promotional support solutions
  • Drive overall net revenue management strategy across all channels and product categories
  • Oversee budget planning processes for P&P and PPA with full P&L responsibility
  • Coordinate the full set of turnover levers, promotions, and customer investments to maximize ROI

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Direct comprehensive analysis of customer and market trends (volumes, sales, trade margin, promotional spending)
  • Lead the monitoring and analysis of customer trade margin to optimize profitability
  • Guide the identification of risks and opportunities in customer mix and category mix
  • Oversee competitive market analysis to inform strategic pricing decisions
  • Develop measurement frameworks to evaluate promotion effectiveness and efficiency

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Marketing leadership on pricing strategies, bringing expertise on competitor SKU prices, promotional activities, and COGS impacts
  • Collaborate with Commercial leadership on customer profitability management and trading terms agreements
  • Lead the P&L approval process for trade terms
  • Present strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Serve as the company's subject matter expert on revenue management

Team Leadership

  • Ensure team members have the tools, training, and resources needed to excel
  • Establish clear performance metrics and drive accountability
  • Create a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement
  • In the long term, manage and develop a team of revenue management professionals

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or related field
  • Proven track record of leading successful revenue optimization initiatives
  • Experience managing complex data analysis and strategic pricing projects
  • Prior director-level experience preferred
  • Background in CPG industry highly desirable

Skills & Abilities

  • Strategic vision with ability to translate data insights into executable business strategies
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and financial acumen
  • Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence across organizational levels
  • Strong business planning and P&L management experience
  • Expert knowledge of pricing methodologies, trade promotion strategies, and revenue management principles
  • Proficiency with analytics tools including Circana, Numerator, and financial modeling

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree strongly preferred

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work arrangement based in Chicago office
  • Approximately 20% travel required to visit customers, manufacturing sites, and key business locations
