AERMOR is hiring for the position of Network Administration Specialist I who will assist Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) Network Operations with network administration projects, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining network infrastructure devices. This role provides support to Senior and Mid-level Network Specialists by assisting with configuration management, documentation, and resolving network tickets. The specialist will work to ensure the availability, security, and integrity of network systems while adhering to DoD security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Assist with network administration projects assigned by Network Operations.
• Troubleshoot network issues and resolve network tickets from users.
• Provide technical solutions and configuration support for network infrastructure devices.
• Maintain and configure network management tools.
• Perform maintenance on network devices and ensure proper functionality.
• Support Senior and Mid-level Network Specialists with configuration management tasks.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of network documentation, including: Drawings and diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, and Other network-related literature.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Must possess SEC+ certification or equivalent.
• Preferred certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in configuring and managing Cisco networking products.
• Basic knowledge of DoD IT security requirements, including STIGs and RMF.
• Prior experience with DoD networks preferred, particularly Navy RMF and NAVSEA networks.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and assist with administrative network functions.
