Our client specializes in providing advanced wound care to patients in settings such as, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, adult care homes, and private residences. They have grown by over 6x in the last two years, operating in 10 states and plans to expand nationwide, with current patient care of 750+ patients. They have an innovative approach to wound care which includes Biologic patches and Ultramist technology (UMT) for effective, painless wound treatment.

  • Innovative Care : Utilize the advanced technologies our client continues to explore and offer, such as, Ultramist, which has created superior outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities & Position Details :

  • Travel to private residences, skilled nursing facilities, adult care homes, etc. to provide comprehensive care for advanced wound care candidates.
  • Reach an informed diagnosis and create an appropriate treatment plan for each patient based on scientific knowledge and the patient's medical history.
  • Accurately document in patient charts following each appointment in the comany's EMR system, AdvancedMD.
  • Perform would care techniques on patients like debridements, applying biologic patches, and using UMT.
  • Collaborate with Physicians, RNs, LVNs, and other Advanced Wound Care Providers to form a high-performing medical team.
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with the patients.
  • This role is a 1099 Independent Contractor. (PT: Max of 13 patients per week (full-time contract may be extended at or near ~13 patients. FT: 30-35 patients per week = 7-9 per day.)

Requirements :

  • Must be willing and able to travel distances around the listed area and extended areas.
  • Valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
  • Board certification (most).
  • Commitment to providing high-quality wound care.
  • Ideally there will be the ability to travel for initial onboarding & training (out-of-state), however there are some circumstances that may allow for virtual onboarding and training.
  • A DEA is 'not' required.
  • Training: 3-week onboarding & training process. This insures overall preparedness and confidence before seeing patients independently.
