I'm currently partnering with a well-established, rapidly growing janitorial services company based in New Jersey to find a hands-on, bilingual Operations Manager to join their leadership team.
This is a critical, field-oriented role focused on managing staff, driving quality across sites, ensuring service excellence, and supporting continued growth through strong operational oversight.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:Lead daily operations across multiple commercial sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery
Supervise, coach, and develop janitorial teams - hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
Implement, execute, and refine operational protocols and safety standards
Serve as the key point of contact for client escalations and service reviews
Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business objectives and performance metrics
Use systems and reporting tools to ensure accountability and transparency
Manage after-hours needs and ensure coverage as required
3+ years of experience in a supervisory or operations role within the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Strong scheduling, time management, and leadership skills
Experience in writing, implementing, and managing SOPs and service protocols
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office , scheduling tools, and mobile field software
Familiarity with project work such as floor care (stripping/waxing), carpet cleaning, etc.
BSCAI certifications and/or franchise experience are a plus
