A senior trial attorney at a respected civil litigation firm in Irvine has just stepped into a managing partner’s caseload, and now he needs a right hand. Someone who knows how to jump into active files, manage deadlines, and keep cases moving without constant direction.
This is a full-time, in-office role —not because the firm doesn’t trust remote work, but because the volume is real and collaboration is constant. You'll be part of a tight-knit team known for tackling everything from personal injury to construction defect and brain injury defense. Think real lawyering, real trial prep, and real responsibility.
What You’ll Be Trusted With:
Drafting and formatting pleadings, discovery, and pre-trial documents
Summarizing depositions and medical records
Managing case calendars, hearings, and trial dates
Coordinating with court personnel, clients, and expert witnesses
Filing documents with state and federal courts (electronic and physical)
Keeping the attorney organized and ahead of the curve on all deadlines
What You Bring:
Strong background in civil litigation (insurance defense is a plus)
Deep familiarity with the CA Code of Civil Procedure and local rules
Ability to work independently and juggle multiple active files
No paralegal certificate required—your experience speaks for itself
Excellent communication, writing, and time management skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 , depending on experience
