Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for a mid-sized organization. This is a long-term contract position based in Burlington, Massachusetts, offering a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite and two days remote. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing multi-state payroll processes and expense reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities: - Process and manage bi-weekly payroll for approximately 300 employees across multiple states. - Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations, maintaining accuracy and timeliness. - Oversee and review employee expense reports using Concur, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. - Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues. - Maintain detailed payroll records and generate reports for internal and external audits. - Handle full-cycle payroll operations, including deductions, benefits, and tax filings. - Utilize UKG Pro Suite to manage payroll systems effectively and troubleshoot any issues. - Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. - Implement best practices to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy. Requirements - Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll operations for mid-sized organizations. - Expertise in handling multi-state payroll, including knowledge of relevant regulations. - Proficiency in using payroll software, particularly UKG Pro Suite. - Familiarity with expense reporting systems such as Concur. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing payroll and expense data. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Prior experience handling payroll for over 500 employees is preferred.
