Job Title: Pediatric Medical Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team. This position is available for both full-time and part-time employment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pediatric healthcare, possess excellent communication skills, and be eager to contribute to a collaborative work environment. The Pediatric Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our providers, ensuring a positive experience for both patients and their families.

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical history
• Assist pediatric providers during examinations and procedures
• Administer vaccines and medications as directed
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and care instructions
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and organized
• Assist with scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to enhance patient care

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) is a plus
• Previous experience in a pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
