IJN Health Systems,LLC  is a Skilled Home Health Agency in Chadds Ford, PA is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our strong compassionate caregivers to provide rehabilitation services. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Care, PRN . 

Job Description:

• Physical Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services to our patients in their homes. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapists. To assist the physical therapist in treatment of clients referred for physical therapy services by performing selected treatments, as directed by the physical therapist. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for re-evaluation per policy and procedure.
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment at various stages and modify treatment to achieve maximum benefit.

 

Requirements:

• Education which meets the requirements of an approved Physical Therapy Assistants program and is licensed through examination by the State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant education program approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or APTA.
• One year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. (Will consider 6 month)
• One year of home health experience preferred.
• Competency in computer skills.
• CPR certified
• Pass a background check
• Provide two (2) professional references
• Able to travel to cases as assigned
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Meets the requirements of federal and/or state criminal and abuse background checks
• Must have access to dependable transportation, auto insurance coverage
