**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **Full Time PT (Outpatient Rehab)** **Position Purpose:** **The responsibilities of an outpatient physical therapist include** **evaluating a patient's condition, creating an individualized treatment plan, and guiding them through exercises and other therapies to improve mobility, strength, and reduce pain** **. They also monitor progress, modify treatments as needed, educate patients and families on home care, and coordinate with other healthcare providers.** **(Orthopedic** **What you will do:** + **Patient evaluation:** A physical therapist will consult with a patient to learn about their medical history, symptoms, and concerns. They will then perform a physical assessment, which may include observing a patient's movement, to diagnose the nature of the dysfunction. + **Treatment plan development:** Based on the evaluation, the therapist develops a comprehensive and evidence-based treatment plan. This plan includes setting goals with the patient and outlining the expected outcomes of the therapy. + **Therapeutic interventions:** The therapist will implement a variety of hands-on techniques and exercises, such as stretching, manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic exercise, to help patients achieve their goals.
