Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in PLC programming (215+ years)
  • Proficiency in Allen-Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000) and Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7) platforms
  • Required automotive experience with GM Global Common, Ford FAST, and/or Stellantis platforms
  • Full-cycle program development skills (not limited to debugging or maintenance)
  • Practical, hands-on programming experience preferred; no formal degree required
  • OEM experience is preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
  • Design, create, and implement new PLC programs utilizing Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms
  • Develop and integrate control systems for projects involving GM, Ford, and Stellantis
  • Produce solid, standardized code adhering to GM GCCS and Ford FAST specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish control logic, HMI interfaces, and system architecture
  • Conduct simulation and offline testing prior to implementation
  • Provide support for startup and commissioning as required (though not the main focus)
  • Ensure systems comply with OEM and customer requirements
