This role focuses on developing and implementing seamless data connectivity between Power BI and our existing software platform. The individual will also collaborate with clients to ensure they maximize the value of the Power BI integration. Key responsibilities include partnering with the software development team to align the Power BI integration with the Projectmates platform’s architecture and technical requirements, as well as supporting clients in creating data visualizations, building dashboards, and performing performance analyses to deliver actionable insights.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support in setting up, configuring, and optimizing Power BI integrations within the software.
• Engage with clients to understand their data needs, business objectives, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the implementation team to integrate Projectmates with clients’ Power BI systems or other similar BI tools, ensuring seamless data connectivity and functionality.
• Design and develop tailored Power BI features, embedding interactive dashboards and reports directly into the platform.
• Train clients on BI best practices, including data modeling, visualization techniques, and effective dashboard usage.
• Design and develop custom Power BI dashboards tailored to client requirements.
• Assist clients in creating actionable reports that align with their goals.
• Help clients uncover trends and insights from their data using Power BI analytics.
• Provide recommendations on how to improve operational efficiency and achieve business goals through better data utilization.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of internal dashboards.
• Assist the sales team by showcasing Power BI's features and capabilities to potential clients during demos and presentations.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience with Power BI Development.
• Proven ability to deliver custom solutions and provide client training.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and connecting Power BI to multiple data sources.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with data integration and troubleshooting Power BI performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with clients.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and priorities simultaneously.

Where you'll be working

This is a hybrid full-time role based out of our Richardson, TX office.
