The Company:

Our client is a fast growing clinical research site network that started in 2015 and grew to 11 sites with plans to double in the next couple years! They have run many clinical studies in Phase I - IV in therapeutic areas mainly focused in GI, Hepatology, and CNS! Their goal is to be the best place to work in the country, and they are excited to find people excited to make that vision come to life through quality patient care and research.

Responsibilities

On call management of patients enrolled in clinical research studies including but not limited to:

  • Monitor and provide direct nursing care to clinical trial participants in accordance with study protocols and patient safety guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical trial protocols, including administering investigational products, collecting samples, and conducting necessary assessments.
  • Record vital signs, adverse events, and other clinical data accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) and study-related documentation.
  • Conduct continuous observation and assessment of study participants, ensuring their well-being during overnight stays.
  • Obtain and process biological samples (e.g., blood draws, urine collection) as required by study protocols.
  • Emergency Response: Recognize and respond to medical emergencies, implementing appropriate interventions and reporting to investigators and medical teams as needed.
  • Work closely with principal investigators, study coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure study integrity and participant safety.
  • Maintain adherence to FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

  • LPN or RN
  • Ability to work on call overnight
  • Any experience with clinical research is a huge plus!
