About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a leading cardiovascular surgery team in Takoma Park, MD. This role is ideal for a skilled nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in cardiovascular and general surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and meet patient needs in the OR.
Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Provide clear communication with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Maryland (or compact state eligibility).
Minimum 2 years of OR experience, preferably in cardiovascular surgery.
BLS and ACLS certification (required).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
