Job Description

We are recruiting for a Product Engineer to join the Product Development engineering team to assist in the development of robust processes and tooling to support growth in the industrial and aerospace investment casting markets, this role offers exposure to the latest tooling concepts using 3D modeling software.

Specifically, the Product Engineer will:

• Utilize data analysis techniques (statistical, mathematical, DOE, 6 Sigma, etc.) to develop, maintain, and teach investment casting procedures and practices.
• Over see dies development (shrink factor analysis), gages, and support tooling needed to produce and inspect cores, wax patterns, and castings.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of GD&T
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, blueprints, models (CAD/NX), and layout reports.
• Gage R&R, SPC, non-straightening processes and other cost reduction initiatives
• Communicate with vendors and clients to design concepts for wax pattern die, the build of gate dies and support fixtures.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering
• 2+ years of applicable experience including co-ops/internships in (investment casting, tooling design, and CAD [preferably NX] experience).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Employer Offers: Salary range is $90,000-$105,000 with a complete benefit package including health, life, dental and vision insurance with a 401k match and quarterly bonus. Relocation assistance is available.
