Product Owner - Supply Chain

$120,000 - $140,000

Are you a dynamic Product Owner with a passion for optimizing supply chain and transportation solutions? We're seeking a visionary leader to drive the development of innovative IT products that streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and deliver exceptional value. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, and agile teams to translate complex business needs into cutting-edge product features. You'll own the product lifecycle, from initial concept to successful launch and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and driving measurable results within the supply chain and transportation domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain & Transportation Expertise: Leverage your understanding of supply chain and transportation processes to define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Deeply understand the unique needs of supply chain and transportation customers, translating them into clear, actionable user stories and product requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current business priorities and maximizes value delivery within the supply chain and transportation context.
  • Agile Leadership: Collaborate with scrum teams to facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring successful sprint execution and alignment with supply chain and transportation objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including logistics, procurement, and transportation teams, fostering open communication and ensuring alignment on product goals.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement within supply chain and transportation operations.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as logistics efficiency, transportation optimization, and inventory management.
  • Mentorship & Best Practices: Share best practices, mentor team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of product management processes within the supply chain and transportation domain.
  • Design & Innovation: Participate in design sessions, providing valuable insights and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance user experience and optimize supply chain and transportation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on supply chain and transportation solutions.
  • Proven experience in managing complex IT products throughout their lifecycle, specifically within the supply chain and transportation industry.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and scrum practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights within the supply chain and transportation context.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and transportation professionals.
  • Strong financial and analytical decision making skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
