Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift

We are working with a leading high quality and authentic ingredient manufacturer distributing nationwide to all retailers and food service providers. The company aims to strengthen its brand and reach growing groups of people looking for healthier lifestyle foods. They are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the production team to ensure production goals are met. This person will report directly to the production manager.

Location: St. Louis, MO area

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the production team to meet the production targets as set by the scheduler.
• Ensure that all production personnel are following cGMP’s and HACCP at all times
• Review and update production SOP’s and WI’s as and when required
• Ensure that all production personnel are following cGMP’s and HACCP at all times
• Audit the department to ensure safe working conditions are being met
• Assist with the hiring and termination process for the employees when and where needed.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a food production supervisory role
• Work will require, regularly, the need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Prior experience managing a production team, ideally within a food manufacturing plant.
• Prior experience working with Amonia is a plus
• Excellent communication and team interaction skills.
• Must be a self-starter who effectively manages multiple tasks under time and cost pressure; assigns appropriate priorities to competing interests; and achieves results with minimal supervision.
