About the Team: At ZF Foxconn in Tuscaloosa, we are seeking a night shift production supervisor focused on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As Production Supervisor, you will oversee a team of approximately 30 assembly operators from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM , reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Your responsibilities include leading personnel in accordance with established procedures and work instructions to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will also manage training, scheduling, and administrative tasks, and be accountable for performance reviews, compensation recommendations, and corrective actions.

• Supervise and train production employees for growth and development by ensuring employees are qualified and trained to the proper procedures, policies & standards in assigned position.
• Direct production by regulating, coordinating, planning, assigning, resolving problems, disciplinary action, and assuring compliance with company safety, work procedures/standards & housekeeping.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of team leaders and employees through constructive feedback (e.g. written reviews, corrective counseling, etc.), support to meet expectations, maintain open door communication, and promote an issue free environment.

Your profile as a Production Supervisor:

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in related field preferred).
• 2-4+ years related experience
• Proven leadership ability, strong people skills (coaching, mentoring, motivation, communication, problem resolution).
• Understanding of Lean principles and responsibilities.
• Understanding of the application, tracking, utilization, and purpose of KPIs.
• Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
