Job Description

Prepares reagents. Performs quality control (QC) testing on barcoded magnetic beads (BMB), incoming raw materials, in-process reagents, diagnostic products, and analyzers.

• Performs QC testing on all ABC products, analyzes and plots data, performs statistical trend analysis.
• Prepares and qualifies QC reagents
• Complies with all QC procedures.
• Provides schedules and meets deadlines.
• Coordinates partnership with Manufacturing, Research and QA Groups.
• Investigates NCM and CAPA.
• Calibrates, monitors and ensures equipment performance.
• Ensures clear and accurate batch records.
• Writes and updates operating procedures.
• Maintains a high degree of safety awareness and a clean orderly work area.
• Bachelor’s degree in life science.
• Relevant laboratory experience in diagnostic manufacturing, QC testing, and familiar with general laboratory techniques.
• Knowledge of general laboratory techniques and statistics.
• Knowledge and experience with MS Windows: Word, Excel, a nd Power Point.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency, strong work ethics and a “can do” attitude.

• Follows Quality System Requirements, safety rules and applicable regulations.

Works in a laboratory environment. Is required to lift up to 20 lbs. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals and infectious agents. Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedule as needed is a plus.
