Job Title: Full Remote Quality Improvement Nurse (RN/LPN)

Location: Remote (Must reside and have Oregon State license)

Position Overview:

As a Full Remote Quality Improvement Nurse, you will play a key role in assessing, monitoring, and improving the quality of care provided to our patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Oregon state RN license, and have a passion for quality improvement in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient care processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement interventions.
  • Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, review quality metrics, and develop action plans.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding quality improvement processes, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between frontline staff and leadership to facilitate communication and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends, research findings, and regulatory updates related to quality improvement in healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of Oregon (Oregon is not a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience in quality improvement, performance measurement, or healthcare analytics preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting patient-centered care.
