Rental Contracts Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Rental Contracts Manager to lead the rental agreements and billing process for a fast-paced equipment rental business. In this role, you’ll manage a team, oversee contract and invoice workflows, ensure timely payments, and collaborate closely with sales and operations to maintain smooth, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team managing rental contracts and customer invoicing
• Oversee accounts receivable and ensure accurate, timely billing
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and contractual requirements
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies to maintain customer satisfaction
• Generate aging reports and assist with audits or special projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client needs
• Hire, train, and supervise departmental staff

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in contracts management and billing
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience in the equipment rental or customer service industry preferred
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and business software
• Understanding of sales contracts and accounts receivable processes

Bonus Skills

• Ability to interpret reports and communicate insights
• Comfortable with basic math, rates, percentages, and data interpretation

Team & Environment

• Manages a team of 3–5 direct reports
• Moderate office noise; occasional proximity to equipment
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform routine physical tasks
