Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as the key link between our engineering and sales departments, working closely with customers to understand their technical needs and develop customized spring and coil solutions. You’ll drive new business development, manage customer relationships, and help deliver best-in-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, industry research, and networking.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop technical solutions tailored to customer specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry to project delivery and after-sales support.
  • Provide accurate quotes and timelines based on product specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events and expand market presence.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in custom manufacturing or industrial components.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, particularly springs and wire forms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (5-15%).
