Security Architect (S4 Hana) - Hybrid in Dallas, TX 3x per week (FTE/Direct-hire role)

Optomi, in partnership with one of North America’s largest specialized manufacturer, is looking to add a Security Architect over S4 Hana initiatives to their team! This company recently implemented S4 Hana, and is looking for a Security Architect who would be instrumental in providing security design, architecture, and process best practices with leadership and vision. The successful candidate will also ensure quality security solutions are implemented and provide guidance and training to teammates. This role will serve as an SAP security subject matter expert by working with teammates and assisting in the design and building of security solutions.

Prior Skills Needed:

• Eight or more years of hands-on experience in ERP Security including working as an ERP Security Architect, such as with SAP or Oracle
• Experienced working on multiple full-lifecycle ERP security project implementations
• Has expertise in developing, understanding, and documenting ERP security concepts and best practices
• Experienced with defining security technical standards, tools, and platforms
• Experienced with collecting and analyzing requirements, and turning those requirements into solutions
• Has a strong understanding of SOX audit compliance and experience implementing and managing processes to ensure compliance
• Has strong experience and willingness to mentor, guide, and train team members

This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. This also includes effectively anticipating and meeting customer needs and the ability to adjust approach based on the situation.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SAP security, user provisioning and role definition, creation, and administration
• Demonstrates an excellent knowledge of security design and architecture
• Ability to troubleshoot any SAP security issues with precision and efficiency
• Demonstrates a high level of initiative in actively seeking to increase areas of expertise, and being proactive in developing security solutions
• Experience supporting audits and participating in audit processes
• History of taking ownership of work, projects, challenges and outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• SAP Security certifications, such as SAP System Security Architect and SAP Access Control
