Northrop Grumman's **Defense Systems** sector is looking for a **Supplier Management Team Technical Lead** over the Honeywell SBC Subcontract, located at the Strategic Deterrence Division (SDS) headquarters in **Roy, UT** . **What You'll Get To Do:** As the Honeywell SBC SMT Technical Lead, you will partner with the Program Element and Segment Executives, Global Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, Office of the Chief Engineer, and lead a cross-functional technical team of various systems engineering disciplines managing major supplier efforts focusing on technical excellence and technical rigor. Primary job responsibilities are leading the technical oversite for Honeywell SBC as the main engineering point of contact for the Program. This includes aligning supplier technical activities with overall program technical baseline and verifying supplier technical deliverables are successfully integrated: + Develop Honeywell SBC Statements of Work (SSOW) through collaboration with key technical and programmatic stakeholders. + Assists Program and Supplier Management Team Lead (SMTL) in generating technical content for Honeywell SBC Request for Information (RFIs ) / Request for Proposals (RFPs) / etc. + Responsible for Honeywell SBC proposal technical evaluations and supports program and supplier management team lead (SMTL) in negotiations. + Review and approve Honeywell SBC 's technical subcontractor deliverables (SDRLs) with guidance from applicable cross functional program Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). + Partner with the SMTL to align Honeywell SBC technical objectives within program cost and schedule constraints. + Establish and track technical goals and commitments for Honeywell SBC to drive maturity and ensure high-quality execution. + Manage and mitigate technical execution risks by monitoring Honeywell SBC technical performance against metrics and addressing identified capability gaps. + Oversee and maintain the SMT technical action item tracker to facilitate communication and accountability with Honeywell SBC As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: - Medical, Dental & Vision coverage - 401k - Educational Assistance - Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions - Paid Time Off - Health & Wellness Resources - Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. **You'll Bring These Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related engineering experience. + Experience working with technology Honeywell SBC supports. For example, aerospace electronic systems, Comms systems, and/or payloads. + Experience with the systems engineering "V" and different phases of the acquisition lifecycle including requirements development to acceptance testing. + Experience in managing a technical baseline. + Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance. + Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). . **These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:** + Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). + Prior Supplier Management Experience on a Program in the Development phase. + Technical evaluations of supplier proposals & subsequent contract negotiations. + Experience in managing technical risks and opportunities. + Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) or being a control account manager (CAM). Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
