Security Data Entry Intern
Time Period: 3-6 months
Hourly: 25-40 hours per week
Paid: $20/hour
Location: onsite, Scottsdale, AZ
Security Data Entry Interns are expected to handle customer-facing report creation, working to collect data hosted on various cybersecurity technologies, and bringing this into a cohesive, consumable report for Lumifi customers.
Primary Duties
Retrieve necessary data from remote systems
Utilizing various automations, transpose created data into a customer deliverable report
Summarize findings into informative, accessible written descriptions that convey notable report outliers or high-importance findings
Assist with data management and analysis and data quality assurance
Verify and validate data accuracy and completeness
Develop methods and techniques to optimize data collection and analysis
Prepare reports and present reports to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Understanding of incident response methodologies and associated reporting
Experience using ticketing systems for tracking (JIRA, Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)
Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required to document and communicate findings, escalate critical incidents, and interact with customers
You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for working with data

Preferred Qualifications
Entry-level knowledge of cybersecurity logging, vulnerability management, and account auditing
Previous experience in Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Zendesk Explore a plus
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, incidents, and alerting a plus
Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science Majors a plus
