Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Accountant for an exciting, fast-growing company based in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will play a key part in the month-end close process, oversee various accounting functions, contribute to systems initiatives, strengthen internal controls, and support both variance and ad hoc financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the general ledger and month end close process, including journal entries and accruals.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure the accuracy of the data through detailed reconciliations and ad hoc analysis
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Implementing accounting policies to improve process and controls
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Provide detailed reconciliations and variance analysis
• Research technical accounting issues and present accordingly. Ensure proper internal controls
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software
