Position Overview: Senior Associate, Investment Research
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Investment Research team! In this role, you will play a key part in conducting thorough due diligence on managers and investment strategies, helping us provide exceptional service to our high-net-worth clients. You will assess various investment strategies within individual client portfolios, actively participate in internal and external discussions, and collaborate with a team that values communication and a passion for wealth and investment management.
Investment Research:
Collaborate closely with the Investment Research team to identify, evaluate, and implement investment strategies tailored to our clients' needs.
Serve as the main point of contact for specific investment strategies, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Conduct thorough searches and initial due diligence on a diverse range of investment strategies.
Monitor and assess the performance of investment manager portfolios, businesses, and operations regularly.
Undertake special investment research projects as required.
Work alongside the Client Advisory team to provide tailored recommendations based on clients' evolving circumstances.
Client and Prospective Client Engagement:
Actively participate in meetings with clients and prospects, confidently sharing insights about our investment approach and educating them on complex investment strategies.
Assist in delivering comprehensive market analysis and perspectives to our clients.
Support business development efforts by attending networking events and prospective client meetings, representing our team thoughtfully.
Collaborate with Client Advisory team members to position our investment philosophy and wealth management services in engaging and innovative ways for clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in investment or asset management.
Ability to independently source and analyze investment ideas, leveraging relationships for additional insights.
Strong intellectual curiosity combined with excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical reasoning skills.
Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
A solid understanding of investment management concepts, particularly related to asset allocation, portfolio construction, and strategy selection.
Basic knowledge of business, legal, and accounting principles related to investment evaluation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and other relevant data systems.
A proven track record of excellence in teamwork, including mentoring and supporting others.
