JOB TITLE: SENIOR PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY CLAIMS ADJUSTER

LOCATION: Hybrid Working Option (1-2 Days Remote Per Week) - Greater Dallas Area

JOB DESCRIPTION : APIS is seeking a Senior Professional Liability Claims Adjuster with 5+ years of experience to join our in-house claims team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling claims from inception to resolution with minimal supervision. Job duties include performing claims intake, analysis, and negotiating settlement of claims.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform intake on new claims by reviewing documents and speaking with insureds to gather information.
• Once information is gathered, analyze claims to determine liability and damage issues.
• Negotiate resolution of claims in a fair and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum of 5+ years' experience adjusting claims for an insurance company, ideally with substantial experience in handling professional liability, general liability, property and/or healthcare claims. Experience in excess of the minimum may qualify for higher pay or title.
• Proven track record of managing legal cases with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

SALARY AND BENEFITS :

• Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
