Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team of innovators working on mission-critical, classified projects. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in Java, Linux, and advanced cloud technologies to develop secure, high-impact solutions. Responsibilities

• Engineer Secure Solutions: Develop robust, efficient, and scalable software by applying strong object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Translate complex customer requirements into practical, forward-thinking designs by working closely with team members.
• Leverage Cloud & DevSecOps Tools: Use AWS Cloud services and tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Cucumber for seamless project execution and agile delivery.
• Lead in DevSecOps Practices: Contribute to a resilient CI/CD pipeline, ensuring secure development processes that align with DevSecOps principles.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with at least 5 years of software development experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java and Linux; hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and Agile/DevSecOps toolsets.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required), allowing you to work on high-level, mission-critical projects.
• Containerization & CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing frameworks, plus practical experience in Agile methodologies and CI/CD environments.
