Full Stack .NET Developer

Overview

Position Summary

This fullitime role will operate as a member of the Provato Project Servcies team working primarily on client projects. Most work will be performed remotely, but could entail onsite client work or meetings.This is a dynamic work environment that offers the opportunity to work across various technology platforms and client environments.

Skills & Abilities

General

• Solid understanding of OOP design principles
• Remote debugging
• Unit Testing

Front-end

• C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
• JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
• HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design
• Understanding of web technology stack, including REST, cookies, caching, and asset loading

Back-end

• Windows & web services, MSMQ
• C# and .NET Framework
• Experience with scalable, performant design and architecture

Database

• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Should be able to read and write SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
• ADO.NET, Entity Framework

Overall Skills:

• Strong experience across .NET Development, C#
• Experienced with the Microsoft Azure platform
• A good working knowledge of ASP.Net and WebAPI
• Experience of building web applications using Javascript/JQuery/Angular 4+
• Knowledge of serverless computing
• Knowledge of database development, ideally SQL
• Exposure to an Agile Development Methodology would be beneficial
• Experience working on the web front-end, service layer, and database
• Experience as a full-stack developer to develop value-added applications for our customers
• Experience developing functional and intuitive user interfaces
• Familiar with Azure application development services (e.g., App Services, Containers, Storage, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Serverless, Service Bus, API Management, CDN)
• Knowledge of code versioning tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps Repos)
• Knowledge of continuous integration technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience with software architecture and practices (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM)
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and technologies (ARM templates, Terraform)
• Support the Provato project services team through reviewing the team’s code, participating in SDLC ceremonies, as appropriate, and representing the team with the customer
• Strong desire to learn and grow through training, self-study, and certifications

Other desirable skills include:

• Continuous Integration experience, with Jenkins, TeamCity or VSTS
• Atlassian Suite knowledge (Jira in particular)
• Testing approaches such as TDD and BDD (Nunit, Specflow) ,
• Git
• Powershell
• Sitefinity or other .Net CMS development experience

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/IS or related field. Experience: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of prior related experience in .NET application development. Work Environment / Benefits
