• Design and develop the user experience for innovative Generative AI applications.
• Specialize in front-end development for Generative AI applications.
• Support the organization's AI technology initiatives.
• Enable the creation of AI-powered solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency.

Location

• Locally remote - Must live within 100 miles of Lexington, MA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the user experience for Generative AI applications.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces using React, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Interface front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of applications for accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues efficiently.
• Stay updated on advancements in Generative AI to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate on portfolio-related documentation, guidelines, and best practices.

Must Have

• Proficiency in designing and developing user experiences for customer-facing applications.
• Expertise in front-end development using React and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in styling front ends with Bootstrap and customizing it using Sass.
• Experience interfacing front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Strong background in designing web-based applications.
• Experience working within an Agile development framework.
• Understanding of Generative AI technology and familiarity with commercially available platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex application issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing applications leveraging Generative AI technology.
• Experience integrating Generative AI with existing systems and applications.
• Familiarity with containerization using Podman or Docker.
• Experience with Apache Solr and creating data pipelines for search products.
• Proficiency in AWS and Azure platforms, including AI-specific services like Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.

Clearance

• Interim clearance is sufficient for the start of this position.

Work from Home

• This position is virtual.
• The candidate must live within 100 miles of Lexington to come into the Lab as needed.
• Onsite work will not be regular.
