Role: Visual Designer


Location: Boulevard Jersey City NJ


Duration: 12 Months with possible extension






Job Descrption:

• A strong background in Visual Design establishing the look and feel for various interfaces including product web apps, mobile devices, journey mapping and other digital design formats
• A good knowledge of interaction models, design patterns and brand guidelines to create visual touchpoints that convey brand values
• Must have experience on data driven corporate web applications and understand efficiency with large datasets and complex nested navigations.
• Good overall oral and written communication skills; must be able to learn to facilitate meetings and workshops, etc.
• Strong experience designing for web applications including responsive design, icon libraries, fonts
• Creative and collaborative approach to solving complicated design problems
• Proficiency in developing interactive prototypes from ideation and conception to final design solutions
• Ability to clearly explain designs to business stakeholders
• Design and document branded design patterns to develop a visual design system for re-use across a significantly large platform of Insurance products
  
  
  
  Software and tools
• Expert level proficiency with Figma and utilizing all functionality (components, remote component libraries, variants, auto layout, sections, prototyping. Ability to manage and maintain component libraries.
• Collaborative / Mind mapping tools : Miro / Figjam
