DormCo.com is an online retail company (Nashville, TN) that is seeking college students or soon to be graduates for our full-time or part-time summer positions. Start dates are flexible (starting May - June) and the position runs throughout the summer (ending in mid-late August or beyond based on your availability). Opportunities to continue after school starts are available for those seeking a part time position while in college.
The summer for us represents college dorm supplies season! With everyone preparing to go off to college in August, DormCo gets extremely busy! We are seeking College Student team members to help take on the extra order volume. You will learn the inner workings of online retail while helping our company fulfill college dorm supply orders. This has been an ideal summer job with guaranteed hours for college students just like you for the last 14 years!
Daily work could include getting the warehouse organized, picking orders, packing orders, shipping orders or a variety of other tasks to help make DormCo.com operate at the highest level.
If you are a high achiever who wants a job that always has you on the go, then DormCo is for you. In our warehouse you'll learn about online retail, shipping, supply chain management, warehouse activity, and internet sales. All while having a steady, good paying job over the summer with fellow college students. The majority of our openings are for full-time (guaranteed hours), but we do offer some part time roles. The job requires no previous experience and is an ideal entry point that will certainly bolster your resume and set you up for years of success beyond college. The job requires a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. Required hours: 32-40 hours (Guaranteed Hours!) Note: In Mid July through August Overtime (1.5X Rate) is available for those interested and deserving (up to 50 or 60 hours a week is not uncommon for students that want the overtime hours). Last year we had some students even reach 80+ hours per week (Over 40 overtime hours)
Pay: Starts at $16 per hour. Raises based upon performance can occur within as little as 30 days to $17 per hour. Guaranteed Summer Completion Bonus of $260 (= 2 Days of Paid Time Off)
Must live in the Nashville, TN area and/or be willing to live in Nashville during the 2025 summer. If you live out of the area, please explain your interest and ability to move to Nashville, TN for the summer when you apply. Must be ready to make an impact... the warehouse is not just a job, it is the life-blood of our company.
