Responsibilities:

• Handle all paperwork for new and used vehicles sold both in-state and out-of-state, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Maintain strict adherence to all title laws and filing requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Issue payment checks to the Department of Licensing and process refunds to customers as required.
• Manage the processing of dealer trades and wholesale transactions.
• Ensure all vehicle sales deals are accurately recorded and filed.
• Oversee the purchase and payoff of trade-ins and other used vehicles.
• Prepare and send finance documents to lenders to secure funding.
• Liaise with customers and the DMV to resolve any title or documentation issues.
• Order and manage office and operational supplies.
• Perform other related duties as needed to support dealership operations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 – 3 years of Title Clerk experience in a retail automotive environment.
• Familiarity with Ignite/Reynolds DMS is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong commitment to follow established policies and procedures.
• Capable of quickly and proficiently learning new systems and processes.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic participant in a team environment.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
• Consistent and stable employment record.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen before employment.
