We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Industrial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up industrial construction projects across the U.S . This position is ideal for a candidate who brings deep experience managing tilt-wall and Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) systems , with additional expertise in aviation-related facilities and design-build delivery.

This is a travel-based position with the flexibility to hire in Houston or near any of our active job sites in Tampa, FL; Salt Lake City, UT; Hartford, CT area. The Superintendent will be responsible for daily on-site project management, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site construction activities and field personnel
• Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, and project sequencing
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure OSHA compliance
• Oversee project timelines, quality control, and field reporting
• Maintain accurate daily logs and progress documentation
• Conduct site walks, inspections, and resolve field issues
• Communicate with Project Managers and stakeholders regularly
• Interpret construction documents, GMP contracts, and ROM estimates

Qualifications:

• Degree in Construction Management or Industrial Engineering
• 10+ years of industrial construction experience
• Ground-up construction expertise required
• Prior experience with aviation facilities preferred
• Proficiency with design-build project execution
• Familiarity with ROM estimating and GMP contract structures
• Experience estimating and managing projects across multiple states
• Knowledge of Tilt-Wall and PEMB construction methods
• Must be hands-on and able to operate independently
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Truck Allowance Provided
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred

• Flights home or to bring significant other out for one long weekend per month
