CubeNexus is building the true spatial web , integrating spatiotemporal data into a unified system with cutting-edge AI and visualization tools. We are developing a web and mobile platform to make our technology accessible across industries like aviation, oil and gas, telecom, and defense .

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer (Figma Specialist) to help craft intuitive and visually compelling user experiences for our web and mobile applications . This is a contract, hourly role in a high-growth startup with tight deadlines , perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building cutting-edge interfaces.

• UI/UX Design : Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using Figma .
• User-Centered Approach : Design intuitive interfaces that simplify complex data visualization and AI-driven analytics.
• Mobile & Web Optimization : Develop responsive designs for both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Illustration & Branding : Utilize Adobe Illustrator and other design tools to create icons, assets, and branding elements for a cohesive user experience.
• Collaboration : Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to refine designs based on feedback.
• Brand Consistency : Ensure UI components align with CubeNexus’s branding and industry best practices.
  

• Proficiency in Figma (Auto-layout, components, design systems).
• Experience designing web and/or mobile applications with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
• Strong understanding of UX principles , user research , and interaction design .
• Ability to create clickable prototypes for user testing and development handoff.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools useful for UI/UX work.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving startup.
• U.S. Citizenship required (due to potential defense-related applications).
  

• Experience with data visualization or geospatial mapping tools.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks ( React, Tailwind ) is a plus.
• Past work on SaaS platforms or complex enterprise applications .
