Job Title: UX UI Designer

Location: Denver, CO or Los Angeles, CA

Work Setup: Hybrid (Remote + In-Person) | Part Time 3 Days a week (10-20hrs)

We’re currently seeking a talented UX UI Designer with a sharp eye for visual design, hands-on experience with Figma, and a collaborative spirit. This role will blend remote work with periodic in-person collaboration at our Denver or LA office, allowing you the flexibility to work wherever you work best while still engaging directly with our creative team.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a UX UI Designer with an eye for user experience and interface details, who understands both agile and waterfall methodologies. Your work will be instrumental in crafting digital products from the ground up, creating experiences that are both user-friendly and aesthetically exceptional. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, balancing the needs of users with the goals of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Help lead the end-to-end design process, from initial research and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design aligns with product goals and user needs.
• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries in Figma.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.
• Create responsive design solutions that work seamlessly across devices.
• Contribute to design workshops, brainstorms, and critiques with both internal teams and clients.
• Stay up-to-date on design best practices, UI trends, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UX UI design for digital products.
• Expert in Figma (proven experience in designing with Figma's advanced features is a must).
• Proficiency in design methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
• A solid portfolio showcasing projects that demonstrate strategic design thinking, user-centered design principles, and creative problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and present design concepts to various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing.
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with animation or prototyping tools such as Figma, Principle, Framer, or Adobe XD.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) to better communicate with development teams.
• A background in branding or marketing design.
