Job Summary — The Warehouse Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment within scheduled timelines. Work schedule Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

The Warehouse Associate is responsible and accountable for: Experience & Other Requirements

  • Receiving and Off-loading materials
  • Verifying counts to purchase orders
  • Sorting stock materials from job materials
  • Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork
  • Ensure all material is placed in its appropriate areas
  • Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick up
  • Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading
  • Utilizing company specific software, to maintain accurate inventory
  • Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in safe and effective manner
  • Make deliveries as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned.Essential Functions
  • Driving box truck, pick up, or van
  • Warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, delivery)
  • Forklift operation
  • Maintaining paperwork
  • Great customer service
  • Computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be years of age or older
  • Valid Indiana Driver's license
  • Clean driving record required
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day
  • Attention to detail
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance
  • Prior Experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment is a plus
