Job Overview:

We are seeking a Water Resource Engineer with expertise in CVP (Central Valley Project), SWP (State Water Project), and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay/Delta Estuary . The ideal candidate should have a PE license or be an EIT with the intent to obtain a PE in California.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze water supply impacts from regulatory actions affecting CVP operations.
• Develop and implement hydrologic and operational strategies for water management.
• Utilize hydrodynamic modeling tools such as CALSIM, DSM2, and WEAP.
• Provide technical reports, recommendations, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with state, federal, and local agencies on water policy and planning.
• Manage water transfers, conservation projects, and environmental compliance efforts .

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in water resource engineering, hydrologic analysis, and modeling .
• License: PE License (preferred) or EIT with intent to obtain a PE in California.
• Technical Skills: Strong background in hydrodynamic modeling, water policy analysis, and environmental regulations .
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
