After-School Teacher – Best Brains Learning Centers (Washington)

Spur, a digital staffing agency , is seeking a dedicated and punctual After-School Teacher for Best Brains Learning Center .

Position Overview

The After-School Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment while maintaining student safety and well-being. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and enthusiastic , with the ability to effectively lead and support students in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students consistently during assigned hours.
• Teach enrichment lessons based on the provided curriculum.
• Lead students in structured and unstructured activities to enhance learning.
• Maintain classroom order and enforce behavior management systems.
• Ensure that classroom and school spaces remain clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the center.

Requirements

• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Must maintain a professional appearance .

Qualifications

• Washington State Background Check required.
• Washington State Teaching Certificate required.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $20.00 per hour .
• Schedule:
  • Mondays & Wednesdays: 4:20 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:50 AM - 12:00 PM
  • (Hours may vary by location.)
