Job Description

Assistant Controller - HYBRID schedule in the Raleigh, NC area
Our client is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee the accounting operations of the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the accounting operations of the Accounting Department
Support month end close
Issue financial statements and financial reporting
Oversee a team
Work cross functionally with other departments throughout the organization
Work with auditors on a quarterly and annual basis
Is hands on and has the ability to manipulate large sets of data
Experience in managing outsourced functions
Oversee the accounting operations for subsidiary functions
Maintain internal controls
Oversee budgeting and forecasting
Observe debt levels to ensure in compliance with debt covenants
Submit tax filings

Skills and experience:
8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Previous supervisory experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Understanding of GAAP accounting standards
Knowledge of accounting/ERP software, including NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics Suite, and QuickBooks
Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Ability to work autonomously with little direction
Can adapt to change
Good work ethic and displays a can do type of attitude
