Position Summary:
The t ruck driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in good condition. Your role will be vital in providing timely and professional services, significantly contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Operate a truck or tractor-trailer safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques to avoid damage.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Report any issues and maintenance needs promptly.

Experience Requirements:

 

• Must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company requirements.
• Must have a Class A Driver’s License.
• Must be 21 years old or older per DOT requirements.
• Ability to complete accurate documentation.
• A minimum of two years of experience driving with interstate commerce under a CDL is required.

Work Environment:

• Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit and drive for long periods.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
