Controller Needed onsite in Davis, CA!

We’re seeking a Controller to lead financial and operational accounting for a growing bio-industrial company specializing in cell culture media and contract services. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will oversee financial planning, cost accounting, inventory controls, and financial reporting while serving as a key business partner to plant and corporate leadership.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Oversee financial close, reporting, and compliance with US GAAP
✔ Manage cost accounting, inventory controls, and operational analytics
✔ Ensure accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
✔ Lead internal controls, process improvements, and cash management
✔ Partner with corporate finance teams on consolidations and reporting
✔ Drive data-driven decision-making to improve financial performance
What We’re Looking For:
✅ 10+ years of accounting experience, including manufacturing cost accounting
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
✅ Active CPA license (Required)
✅ Prior Controller or Accounting Manager experience
✅ Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
✅ Expertise in NetSuite, SAP FICO, or similar ERP systems (Preferred)
✅ Background in public accounting and/or private equity (Nice to have)
